Hello everyone. I have a Dell motherboard with only a PCI slot video card. However, i want to play better games which will require me to have AGP or PCI-E slot. I hopefully will purchase a new motherboard that has a agp slot 4x/8x. Can I just purchase this motherbaord and just install it and hook up everything and then BAM! my comp is up and running? Or is there more to it to get a new mobo for my comp?

how old is this machine? older dell's used proprietary connectors for the power supply, so you cant just swap motherboards if yours is one of those.

Actually my computer is just 4-5 months old. Is that a bad thing?

then thee shouldnt be a problem with the power supply\mobo connections. but you might want to check the front panel connectors dell's dont usualy hook up correctly with standard mobos. if it wont your going to need a different case.
