Can not open my hotmail account

I have:
HP pro 3500 Series computer
4.00 GB RAM
64 Bit operating system
CPU G870 @ 3.1 GHZ
Windows 10
Service pack 1

I am using gmail's chron browser, I can not open my hotmail account. All other mail like gmail, yahoo works ok except hotmail. I get massage "web page is not available."

If I use firefox browser then it will open hotmail.

Can you help so I can use chron browser and get hotmail open.

Using my Google Chrome browser I typed in hotmail.com & it asked me for my user name & password & I got right in no problem. Hopefully you'll get it fixed. You might run https://www.techspot.com/downloads/132-ccleaner.html to see if it helps

I was using chrome till yesterday but when I tried to log in today I can not log in to my hotmail account. I ran cc cleaner but no change.
Can any one tell me step by step what to do to pin point the trouble.

I can use fire fox which works ok but I can not use chrome
I have lots of web pages with my pass word store using chrome. Thant is why I need chrome to work.

The only thing I have left to offer is to go into your Google Chrome settings & make sure your NO PROXY setting is correct. In firefox its Tools>Options>Advanced>Network. Find similiar in your Google Chrome & make sure NO Proxy is clicked.

If my previous reply don't do it, try Outlook.com . Its the same as hotmail.com Good luck.

Hotmail.com was acquired by MS and is actually being serviced by mail.live.com - - BUT your email address does not change

ping hotmail.com -> show IP addresses are

• Name: hotmail.com
• Addresses: 65.55.77.28
• 65.55.85.12

nslookup 157.56.172.28 show

• Name: origin.snt146.mail.live.com

so, can you TRACERT HOTMAIL.COM
