Can not play a video...

  1. I have my graphics driver installed, and i got a codecs packet and everything that includes the WMP, and winamp and such..but i still cant play videos without the players freezing and making my computer act funky. i can only view videos on youtube.

    please give us details on your computer (what is it, what is the video card). no one can answere the question without knowing anything about what u have.

    its a compaq presario with a AMD Athlon 64 Processor with a Winfast A6600GT video card. I have the codec pack called combined community codec pack, ive tried the k-lite codec pack that doesnt work either. Videos would work until i reformated my comp. so i cant think of anything im missing, i got all my drivers/codecs.

    have you tried video lan player? It plays everything?

    nope just dloaded that...and it doesnt work.
