Cannot access my shares. help!!

Hi,

This one is strange. I no computer can access another one through the net. But, if I go to \\192.168.0.xxx I can get in to the shares. But not by the computer name or the my network places folder.

It's 3 computers running windows xp pro.

The error i'm getting is:

"You don have access to computername. Maybe you don't have permission to use this network resource.

Route to host not found"

This doesn't happen when I type in the ip address directly.

Please tell us more about your network configuration, including installed protocols and TCP/IP settings.

Printer and File Sharing for Microsoft Networks
TCP/IP Protocol, static Ip adresses

All computers have the same protocols installed.
They are in the same workgroup.
I have a 3com hub.

That's the basic... All the computers have a password set.
