Cannot move password protected zip files?

I am attempting to copy these password protected zip files from my local pc to a network location. When I try to open the copied files they say they are invalid or empty and do not prompt me to enter the password yet you can see that the file size is there indicating they are present. Anyone know of a way to accomplish this?

NTFS to NTFS file system I assume (that could be one issue). You could try opening them on the local drive first the password protecting them again, once they are moved?
