yeah the target range i would shoot for is 3.6 to 3.8 ghz for that cpu. also i would not base a purchase off of one game lol crysis is ok but you wont play it long it gets boring as hell and you will beat it fast so.

I know :( That's why I'm taking Crossfire/SLI into consideration when I'd upgrade the MB... because like I said that PSU only has 2 PCI-e pins... and one GTX 260 alone takes 2 pins...
Man... the indecisiveness has returned... :(

I'll be sure to test out OCing the CPU... but help me with my indecisiveness returning! :( It's true I've seen the GTX 260 core 216 perform better at high resolutions... but... sigh... :(
Gah... ya know what... I'm gunna buy the HD 4870 first... test out some games... return it later (they only take a 10% restocking fee) and try out the GTX 260... then if that isn't as good... I'll get the 4870 back... XD

Wow, really this is over kill, they perform almost the same >.>.
I would just go buy a 4870 and stick with it, PERIOD.

yeah dont return one for the other waste of time i was just saying dont pick a card based on 1 game the 4870 is a great card hell if you were going to pay a restock fee might look at the 4890 card to but overall i would get the 4870
