Can't delete file

I made an hta file (html application) and now I can't delete it. I can't move it. I can right click it, but nothing happens when I click properties. Opening the file with notepad makes notepad crash.

Any help?

Have you tried the del command from a command prompt?
Start

• enter cmd in the search box

then in the command prompt box migrate to the appropriate directory and delete?

Looks like it has a non-zero reference count (ie the file is being accessed by a browser).

1. quit ALL browsers
2. locate the specific file with the file explorer
3. attempt to delete it

If that fails, reboot, relocate it again and deleted it.
