Cherry Xtrfy MX 8.2 Pro TMR Keyboard Review

The fetishization of keyboards is so over the top now. Just as an example here just a very small part of the spec list for a key switch - not a keyboard or the cap, just the switch...
"The color of the botany switch is inspired by “Haworthia cooperi” in a light bluish green pattern. With additional lubes on the rails, nice color, light feel, Akko switches provide better typing experience
Crisp Sound: Akko Botany Switches produce a clear and crisp sound profile, Low Operating Force Linear Switch, it features our custom Nylon (Pro) stem, a PA12 blend top cover, and a PA6 bottom housing, creating a unique material combination, the PA12 material top housing reduces unwanted pings during bottom-out, and the extended springs provide better responsiveness.Akko Botany Switches is a mid-pitched version of Akko Rosewood Switches"

While this is interesting and kinda cool, TKL is not a good thing. Full size keyboard or GTFH. The price is understandable to a degree, given the bleeding edge tech, but I'm not paying full price+ for a keyboard that's less than full size. Cherry needs to do better, much better.

It's all about preference. If you're playing most games then it's much better ergonomically for your hands to be closer together and have more mouse space. I like my full board for work but on my home computer I have tkl mostly to give myself more space to aim and it's wayyyyy more comfortable.

But also consider, if its going to be used for gaming, it shouldnt be wireless.

I, use a Logitech MK320. It, costs about $25. Best keyboard I ever used in my 28 yrs using a computer keyboard. I can type about 45wpm. I'm, 68, so I have slowed down a bit from 60wpm about 10 years ago. There is no way, I would pay $250 for any keyboard, for any reason. That's, simply, too much! Although, I'm sure Millennial's and Gen Z will gladly put down the money. Not, to mention it's NOT a full scale keyboard.

To each their own, but a TKL is more ergonomic (even though I have an Azeron) and I use a separate numberpad when I need it (you can get them with all sorts of switches just like keyboards if that is your thing).

Sorry but you gloss over a very big Problem :
The Keyboard is a TKL , so no Numblock .. and it´s a Northside LED Board , like you see in your Screenshots ... and the only Numbers on the Keyboard are .. in the South so nearly no Light reaches there and it´s very VERY hard do read them. For a ~240€ Keyboard to have such a Fail in it ?
Razer did there a better Job with their Caps (I switched the Numberkeys with my Blackwidow Caps till I get a full new keycap set)
And since I´m a little on the Crazy Side , I use the Dualmaster Feature and the HE Switches on the Gaming Relevant keys , while the rest is Mechanical Silent. The HE Switches uses N-Pole-Down if some one is interested (Mail from Cherry Support) I witch is with the Gentry HE Silent and they work fine with my Keyboard
