Clicking/beeping noise

Last night my lap top fell off of my bed. It still turns on and works fine, but every once and awhile i'll hear a loud clicking/beeping coming from inside. When this happens my browser will freeze up for 2 minutes and sometimes I even have to shut it down because it won't come out of it.

Does anyone know what the problem might be? It sounds like something is loose, but I'm not too sure..

Any cable or component could be loose. Remove the keyboard, if you can, then unplug and reseat everything. Remove and reseat the hard drive. Remove and reseat the optical drive. Continue until you have removed and reconnected every possible thing... including the cable from the base unit to the screen.
