hey im running combofix as we speak on laptop and the screen has gone to screen saver, and it says not to touch mouse or keyboard till combofix is finished scanning. at last look at the screen it had said completed stage 3.

so what happens? do i touch the mouse and have to start again or just wait for like an hour then move the mouse?

It's probably too late to reply, but moving the mouse for this would have been ok
Or ideally turning the screen saver off first (obviously not thought to do at first)

I've done this before, doing a AntiVirus scan and I've forgotten the screen saver turn off. (so it happens to us all)

Rule of thumb, screen saver off when doing long scans.
