    Europe is all GSM and access per se is easy - - heck, riding from Paris to Vienna, my cell connected 4-5 times to various venders. Your domestic service provider with those branded/locked provides steal you blind with roaming charges. As GSM cards are link sd cards, just buy a local SIM and swap it out while in Europe :)
