Computer boots but no display!

So, first of all sorry if this has been posted before.

Ok so i turn my computer on, i can feel and see the fans going on both my CPU fan and my GFX card fan i can hear the CD drive and the harddrive working but i have no display. I have tried swapping the monitors etc.. But still no use, so i'm guessing something has broken. Just need one of you fellas to tell me what it is

Willing to try things out if it will help find whats wrong.

If the motherboard has a video out connection, try that. If not, you may have to invest in a new video card

Yeah i tried that, still no the display...

I think it may be the motherboard..

Also this may help, i don't hear that 'beep' sound that you normally hear upon start up so i'm guessing that means i'm going to have to buy a new motherboard.
