Computer Died, please help

Hello, my only house computer died

I was trying to put some more ddr ram in it, but I didn't have it in there right and turned the computer on. It beeped a couple of times, and now that I have it in there correctly, the computer turns on, but the monitor acts like there is no computer there.

Anyone know what is wrong?

try reseating all of your ram. it just might not be in all the way. also just to be routine, check all of your cables. take the new stick of ram out and see if the computer turns on. if thats not seeming to work, double check to make sure that your ram is the right kind you need for your motherboard.
