Be sure to clean off the old thermal paste using rubbing alcohol before you apply just a small amount of paste. Too much paste will act as an insulator, not a heat conductor

The thermal paste job wasnt too good and afterwards the heat did decrease, but still no solution.

Adjusted the settings on Prime95 and ran it again and my pc crashes within a minute or 2 during the test. This means that the problem is my processor, correct?
