Computer Screen full of Static Neon Colours

My PC was fine the other day but when I turned it on today the screen was full of colours that aren’t normal and looks staticky at some parts, I could still see text and icons but the colours are distorted. I’m wondering if it is my GPU drivers or a loose chord. (And no it isn’t my monitor)
Could it be a virus? Could A virus do this to a computer?

IMO, primary suspects would be
  • over heating
  • damaged GPU (OC abuse?)
  • damaged video card
  • yes, the monitor itself
  • massively malconfigured video settings

My computer is very new (a few months old) and was never over heating From what I’ve seen, I’ve never over clocked it and I hooked up my Xbox one to the same monitor and it played fine. I’m not too sure about the video setting but they seemed to be default but I’m new to pc and I might be wrong.

My guesses at what is the problem:
- loose connection between components or card to motherboard
- kink in cord
- magnetic field (speakers?)
- corrupted driver (remove with DDU (see "downloads" on this website
- failing GPU / loose heatsink

Since it is under warranty, you may want to go to GPU makers' website and work with support.

Having the same problems, browsers are fine, along with in-built tools [File Explorer, Control Panel, etc.]
However external apps, games, and services are having problems rendering properly.
Not sure how to fix it.
I've reinstalled my GPU drivers, they're up to date.
Doesn't seem like a GPU problem considering my browser is fine...
