I have been using JHU from the start. Then perhaps a better site to quote might be in order.
Johns-Hopkins University is making a very serious effort to provide numbers that can be counted on to be accurate.

The recovery numbers are posted there..I have been using JHU from the start.
Yes they are posted on a few other sites I check too, but here is the problem. The recovery numbers are posted there..
It leaves them infected and still dealing with the virus. You're a smart person, how are you missing that? That leaves 1,017,000 as what, unknown?
Yes it is. Recovery status and numbers are required by law in most of the world, especially now.Reporting cases and deaths is required but patients that recover are not.
That's an assumption on your part. Those recovered figures are way under-reported so I will not list them.
I have thought about that myself. But right now there is no way to get any info that isn't just speculation. And probably won't ever be.There is also potential for misdiagnosis. Some hospitals stopped testing and considered all walk-ins to be covid19 infected.
This is true. However there is always a margin for error, which is why statistical margins for error exist. There is also potential for misdiagnosis. Some hospitals stopped testing and considered all walk-ins to be covid19 infected.
Not true, the reported recovery numbers are verified numbers through the same reporting agencies that publish the infected and fatality numbers. If you are not willing to accept that information then you can not trust any of the information on offer.I have thought about that myself. But right now there is no way to get any info that isn't just speculation. And probably won't ever be.
That is easily one of the more bigoted statements I've read in a while. The religious.
All are worth the sacrifice (of others) for their twisted view of life around them.

For certain the human race isn't anywhere as smart as our individual egos would like to believe. Our exaggerated self esteem begins at Genesis, (we're created in god's image), and hyperbolizes itself .exponentially in hubris from there. There are certainly plenty of Dipshits that never cease to amaze. And, they're back.
Frankly I'm surprised they haven't turned that statement into the possessive case, "Satan's virus", (won't stop us). As soon as you identity of the source, then the "power of prayer", should eradicate it. :"Louisiana church expecting 2,000 at Easter service despite coronavirus: Satan and a virus will not stop us"
Yea risky behavior for sure. I can't believe some of the things I see and hear all around me. I went to get gas today at the local Big Red and the attached McDonalds was drive-thru only but the store was open and was full of people.@scavengerspc As you likely know, it's claimed that corona virus is infecting the black community more so than the white. I assume the subtext could be manipulated to claim the virus is, "discriminating".
However, I was on my porch cleaning out one of my PCs, while a group of my black neighbors across the street were smoking a joint, and passing the spitty a** roach around among themselves. Now, that seems like "risky behavior".
In fact, I was afraid I might catch Covid because I could smell the smoke 30 feet away. (Let alone take a hit off of it). But I wasn't invited, so I guess I'll just hope for the best.
