Highly anticipated: The game’s creator, CD Projekt Red, also released a developer diary for Gamescom 2019 that offers a behind-the-scenes look at the title. It even delves into the character of Johnny Silverhand who, as you may know, is played by Keanu Reeves.

Google during a livestream on Monday revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 is destined for its upcoming game streaming service, Google Stadia.

Cyberpunk 2077 wasn’t the only game that Google showcased today. Also coming to the streaming service is Mortal Kombat 11, GRID, Darksiders Genesis, The Elder Scrolls Online, Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle, Farming Simulator 19, Windjammers 2, Orcs Must Die! 3, Samurai Shodown, Watch Dogs: Legion, Borderlands 3, Superhot, Kine and Destroy All Humans!

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC on April 16, 2020. Google didn’t confirm whether or not Cyberpunk 2077 will hit Stadia the same day as other platforms.

This game has the potential to be a bigger success for CDPR than Witcher 3 and that is saying a whole lot. Here's hoping!

Of course it would be bigger success than The Witcher 3 when CDPR has increased fan base because of the witcher 3. If there wouldn't be The Witcher 3 (the success) C2077 wouldn't be that hyped.

Not to mention FPS and RPG are the two largest genres. It has the potential to appeal to all the original witcher 3 players and COD, Halo, and other FPS shooter gamers.

While also grabbing people with GTA V fatigue.

TBH I don't believe Cyberpunk will be as big of a hit as Witcher was.
Witcher III was a third game (shocker I know) in the series, it was established as a great IP over time, it had characters you could "know" if you read books, the theme is much more grounded than Cyberpunk ... I know, don't laugh.
Cyberpunk might not overshadow Witcher series, Cyberpunk II might.

It all depends on the launch execution and early reviews (pro and consumer).

The hype is there and people want Cyberpunk to succeed just shut the hell up every other smug developer/publisher that think that gamers are stupid cash cows. CDPR managed to earn a ton of goodwill from everybody.
