Dell BIOS password removal

Hello everyone,

this is my first post at techspot.com. I'd like to congratulate everyone here at techspot for this great site and effort you put on this community and for all the great job you've done 'til today as i've read through many posts here.

Ok, my problem. My aunt bought me a dell inspiron 8000 for my birthday; she doesn´t know anything about computers but she's a great lady, i really apreciate this gift. She gave it to me and as i powered it on i saw the bios password screen. I started reading across this site about this password thing and decided to try that shorting method. I located the chip labeled 24WC02J on the board and proceeded to short 3rd and 6th pins...nothing...when i short and power on laptop goes off right after powering on. If i do the shorting pin by pin on 3rd and 6th using the paragon shorter with the 3rd pin it powers on but still that pass screen...with the 6th pin it goes off just after powering on. So i guess the shorting method won´t work for me...

So i was wondering if rustam could help me out...man i know you are really busy out there but if you just got a minute for me i'd really apreciate it...the service tag for this laptop is #8ZNHC01-595B

Also i looked down the laptop and service tag and express labels have been teared off so i dont know the express code. i just got this service tag from that bios password screen.

I just want to use this laptop for my school subjects...i can´t afford a new one and i just really need to use this one...it is in such good shape...

please Rustam...if you could have a minute for me...

i contacted Mr RAZIK he gave passord for "Bilybott" he is waiting to give also for "SWORDFISH"!!, please for 595b contac him, and good luck

If you don`t stop promoting razik, you too will be banned.

By all accounts, the guy`s a fraudster.

I`ll say it again for the umpteenth time.

Anyone who comes to Techspot asking for payment for passwords, will be banned immediately.

Is that clear enough for you?

If anyone really wants to pay for password removal, don`t do it through Techspot.

Guys, until someone else comes along who will help you for free, the only persons you can trust are _rustam/Paragon33/Ididmyc600/Obi.

Regards Howard :)

I (and she) would be really grateful for help

Howard,

Why do you think I promoting that sick fraudster? I NEVER did any of this. I don't even know that razik. I came to the site to ask for technical help and that's all I wanted to do here at techspot. Please read the facts first before you go around threathening me thru the email you sent me today. That's not very friendly or professional of yours. That fraud pmed me and I deleted it right away. I was hoping Mr Rustam would reply to my post last week but nothing came out.

Howard, please show me your appreciation about the fact that I stricly respect the rules of Techspot. Thank you and have a nice day!!!

I don`t know where you got the idea that I emailed you. But I certainly did no such thing.

I can`t see any reason why I would.

Perhaps, you`re mistaken?

I`ve just checked through my sent emails and you`re not on it.

Regards Howard :)

If I only had a brain.....

K, first I read it was the 3 and 5 prongs on this eeprom chip that you short, then someone mentioned the 3 and 6 prongs....which is it? Please .....only if you are sure....I can guess and I don't want to hear it if its a guess. Also, I never got any kind of reply to: What kind of damage can this procedure do if its done improperly?

Thank you Thank you Thank you:)

ok Howard. I realized it was an automatic message et not a personal email.

Please accept my apology for what I did to you. I hope you understand I really screwed up on this one.

I am deeply sorry once again, Howard.

Good day!

hi imfromjupiter,

as far as i'vre read in the site link removed in the shorting method section it is 3rd and 6th pins. Also studer13 mention in one of the early threads of this subject that he succeed on reseting his inspiron 8000 with this shorting method on pins 3 and 6...though, i have an inspiron 8000 and haven't succeeded yet....hope info helps you.

luigui.

rustam_! Yet another supplicant! (There should really be a separate thread for "people begging rustam_ for help) :)
I gather from everything I've read online that you are the ONLY person to go to for a 595B master password. A client of mine got a Dell laptop from ebay, and, surprise surprise, locked BIOS - also, since the configuration information is invalid, it will not boot up at ALL. Just goes to the grey screen of despair. The service tag is #HCX50B1-595B, and it's an Inspiron 6400. Could you please help me? Thanks!

Ookay, just noticed people are including another piece of data in requests, so I might as well, too.
Once again, It's a Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop

please Rustam, i´m begging for your help

the service tag is #8ZNHC01-595B

i need this laptop for my school practices.
please....

Wow, that post is so going to be deleted soon. Geez, I'm gonna be paid maybe $40 CDN by my client for this, why in heaven's name would I pay $100 to get a password I'll be paid $40 for? I'm sure they don't supply "free passwords for everyone" because they're BUSY. Go away, razzik.

The laptop i bought for my son seems to have the bios protection on it.

Any help would be apreciated.
