But the thing is, oil is being phased out in all aspects of life. And to be honest, I'm not 100% happy about that. In fact, I'm not one who believes that Gasoline power will ever be phased out completely.So instead, it takes 1000 cubic feet of natural gas to produce a single kWh.
As a side note though, natural gas supply is estimated to be at 250 years +\-.
And as far as volume, natural gas can be compressed for storage and takes up far less space to store. Plus, it flows waaaay easier than a liquid, not to mention oil. So transporting it is a snap.
