Dell deminsion 2400

My Dell deminsion 2400 keeps shutting itself down.
Somebody told me it may be the motherboard.
Do yall agree? Or what do you think the problem may be?

Could be the motherboard, but it sounds like you could possibly have a faulty power supply. I guess it'd also be possible for it to be overheating, but only if the heatsink is not on the processor properly(or is filled with dust), or if the fan stopped working altogether. I'd "borrow" a power supply from another computer and test in the dell to see if that fixes the problem.

Fan works and i cleaned it out real well
Ill try another power source
