I tried to turn it on but nothing happens so I I tested the power supply using the paperclip trick and it did power up and the fan was spinning .I then took the computer apart and cleaned the dust out and made sure all the connections were tight . I put it back together and it did power on and I was able to go on it . I shut it down and now its back to not going on when I press the power button.

I'm really not sure what's going on so any help would be appreciated

I wanted to get a higher wattage power supply eventually anyway to be able to upgrade the computer , mainly the video card .

Some Dell power supplies are proprietary. What is the wattage rating of the original PS? You might be able to use any ATX rated supply

Thank You sorry about all the questions Any Suggestions on which one or where to buy it ?

I'm also looking to upgrade the video and sound card

That will have all the connectors I need? and thank you I appreciate it
