Somebody in your company probably took it upon themselves to erase the critical proprietary data, and screwed up the hard drive... or the setup.
Tell us the brand and model of computer or motherboard, and the version of Windows Xp disk you have... the configuration would be useful... optical drive, memory modules, CPU, CPU Fan, power supply, hard drive, and serial number or part number from the back of the case.
For now, assume the hard drive is bad, but it probably just requires a clean reformat.
