Different monitor

well the monitor i had for my sony vaio VGC-RA701G got liquid in it so theres big black bubbles everywhere and i have a spare monitor i wanna hook up, but theres no dvi cable connection on the monitor, is there some settings that im missing to have it jus run thru the standard monitor cable? help!!

You are going to have to have the the computer serviced... There is only a VGA connector so you will have to use a VGA monitor
