I have a Maxtor OneTouch III (1000MB)
Until yesterday the drive was used to house a few images and such. Now the drive shows all the directories but no files. It says in the drive details that the drive is using nearly half of the space on the drive (446GB) but when I explore the drive there are no files displayed.
Does anyone know where these files have gone? Any idea how to get them back?
I thought perhaps it was a file table issue but then the directories wouldn't display.
Going to perform a recovery now to see if it can find anything. Or are my files gone
