Does anyone know of any disk failure recovery software. I think my hard drive is dead and I am trying to recover the data. The Bios recognizes the drive but when I try to access the drive with the Manufacturer's diagnostic program or with with Fixboot or FDISK/MBR it cannot find the drive. I have heard of Spinwrite. Is there any hope in this situation?

Thank you for your reply. I tried HDD Generator. Unfortunately the software cannot detect the disk although it shows up in the BIOS. If this is a physical hard disk failture, which I suspect it is, can any program recover the data other than the expensive Data Recovery people?
