Mostly yes. 8 core CPU is quite future proof and with that motherboard you can easily overclock it. Then it's even more future proof.
I consider Radeon more future proof than GeForce but as certain Radeon models are sold out everywhere, GTX 1060 OK alternative.
For editing I would take more RAM (very expensive right now) and SSD (again, expensive right now) so those are next things to upgrade.

SSD is much faster than HDD, so it's worth investing. For memory, 16GB might be enough, just depends on usage.
