I have a X300se, setup with Radeon Omega driver.
Clocked @ core 475 mem 450 mhz, runs very stable,
can play NFS mw in 12x 10 and 16x12 with all options turned off.
Aswell as Quake 4 with a few details on.

What i want is to hook up another monitor.
I've read that clone mode is possible,( @ Ati site)

Can it also be run in panning mode?
Means that same picture is shown over two monitors.
Would be a nice gimmick.

My X300 has s- video, vga, and dvi.

Hope anyone has some ideas. :giddy:

& what exactly do you think clone mode is if it isn't displaying the same image on two screens ? ;)

Hmm yeah,

you've got a point. :approve:
So if i use my dvi adapter, and hook up both
monitors, i'm ready to go?
Thought clone mode was only for making the same picture, twice. :giddy:

It is. Clone mode = same picture on both screens. Panning mode means the desktop will be scattered over both monitors. Have a look at the attached pictures to get a better idea.

In any case, I'm sure the card can do both if it has two outputs.

Hi Didou,

yep, that's what i'm looking for.
Does it also work in applications, and watching movies?
Or better, Gaming?
I've looked for it in my ATTools, only thing i find is
'extended desktop' , i think that's it.
I'll be trying some more.

Thx for the pics & info :giddy:
