Downloaded Installations folders

I have the following folders in c:\windows\Downloaded installations\
{2B5BEDAD-AFAE-4110-84CB-D2F72609EF41}
{327F5C2B-33D4-471D-9606-2AB1A2FC342C}
{92809A27-8CC3-4E31-8E7B-A6F39ECB8877}
{A883ABE7-C1F4-450C-B774-4BD4D580E657}
1. Since they are all empty folders, I can not tell what they are for.
Is there a place on the net to get this information?
2. Can they be deleted?
OS is Windows XP Pro

I wouldn't delete them. They should contain information about certain programs that are installed, removing them might make uninstallation of them much more difficult. If they are empty there is no harm in leaving them, and no benefit in deleting.

Yes, I realize they should contain information on an installed program. I hate clutter. Thats why i would like to know any information about what the folders would of contained.
