Downloader.agent JS

  1. Hi,

When I went on a forum site (about the EG regulation on sattelites), AVG spotted this trojan: JS downloader.agent
It managed to put it into the virus vault. It couldn't be repared, so i went to see where this trojan was and deleted the whole file (temporary internet files). After that i deleted the trojan in the virus vault in AVG.
Soon after I got a second alert from AVG with the same trojan. I can't fix it.

I followed all the 15 steps posted on this forum (very well, thanks for that!!!).
    I have now these logs:
    AVG antispyware

I will post the logs of HJT, Combofix and AVG Antispyware as asked in the 15th step of malware removal.

Can you take a look at my logs please?
    Thanks very much, much appreciated!

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

All your log files are clean.

From what I can gather, Downloader.agent JS is related to Java and therefore it`s probably a false positive.

Go HERE, download and install the latest version of Java.

Once it`s installed, go to add remove programmes in your control panel and uninstall all previous versions of Java, except version 6 update 3. Close Control panel.

Let me know if that helps.
