Downloading + Router F/wall + Kaspersky F/wall

Hello

Having a bit of a problem here. Have recently installed Kaspersky Internet security v6.0.2

Things were ok before the installation as for me to download from a program such which requires opening of ports, i was easily able to through the router firewall. It now seems i have to do this using Kaspersky also?

Now, that seems ok until i see so many options. I see "Rules for applications", "Rules for packet filtering" and "Zones". The first two contain similar sort of rules.

How do i go around configuring this if i want to download using mIRC for example. Could someone please provide a step by step on what ports i should be using first of all for downloading using DCC and how do i confgire Kaspersky along with that.

There`s a page HERE telling you which ports have to be opened.

If you can`t figure out Kaspersky`s setting,
try using Windows firewall for mirc and disabling
Kaspersky.
