DPI issue Multiple displays (4K and HD) in Windows 10

I'm on a laptop win/7 pro, using mirroring only when making presentations and only when HDMI is not available.

My best guess is the Win/10 drivers

Yes - - the videos. hmm, that raises a thought. Dual monitors comes from a single video card it two ways;
  • dual connectors on one card
  • or a Y connector
How are you getting three monitors??

I am using a 6 core X99 desktop with a GTX970 - each monitor has a different connector - DP for the 27" HDMI for the 23" and DVI for the old 24".

Nice card. Any way you can use the same connection type (hdmi, dvi) for all?
try same for two and see if there's a difference.

No - these are the only connections I can use (card/monitors combo).
The latest nvidia drivers has issues - last time I installed them the computer gone into a loop of restarts - had to revet to win 8.1 and installed win 10 again with the older drivers. I read about this and it is a problem with nvidia - they had new drivers 2 days ago but the recommendation is still to use the older ones I am using until they can be sure it is 100% stable.

Anyway - I still feel that this is a win 10 problem not an nvidia issue...

Yeah - the problem is that it is almost impossible to work this way - I'll try to approach MS - maybe they will have something to say (although they are almost never helpful).

Thanks for the effort anyway.
