Driver confusion

HI, this is my first time building a pc, and I have just finished assembling the hardware. The only issue is that I have had a spot of confusion

I have been told that without a graphics card, I cannot access the bios. I have also been told that the graphics card requires a driver to function. Is this true?

My graphics card is a geforce gtx 1050 ti and my motherboard is an amd 970 pro gaming/aura. I have a functional optical drive and hard drive. Can someone please help?

You don't need a driver to enter the bios, the driver is only needed for the operating system. The driver allows the best utilization of the graphics card by the operating system. You install that after Windows is setup.
