drivers for Dell Dimensions 3000

reformatted our home dell dimensions 3000.

however, the PC has the following problems, no sound, wonky display, and cannot connect to the internet.

under device manager, the following items are highlighted with the yellow ?
- ethernet controller
- multimedia audio controller
- video controller (VGA compatible)

no luck locating the drivers on Dell's homepage, or the drivers disks that came along when we first bought.

would greatly appreciate if anyone can help point us to the right location to download.

The drivers are all there on the Dell site. Try
http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?
Just click on Dimension, then on 3000
Or
You can get directly to your Dell by typing in the Service tag - 6 to 8 digits on the white and black label on the back of the machine... You can also print out your original purchase configuration so you can see exactly which drivers to download.
Also, if the BIOS has been updated to a date later than when you purchased the Dell, download and install it as well.
