DSL modem/wireless router combo for AT&T?
Is this a crazy idea? will it work?
I just killed my DSL 2wire modem wired connection by trying to add a wireless router. Attempting to bridge, I changed a setting and now I cannot even reach the modem with the computer.

so, since I am in the middle of hassle anyway, I am considering just replacing this old (6-year-old) modem, and replacing with combo DSL modem and wireless router.

Has anyone done this? suggest a model?

You know you rent that from AT&T, but you can make sure by calling CS to verify? But you know you can get another on for free from AT&T. Did you check with them first. Like the cable companies have all-in-one with digital phone in one box.
