I have a gateway mx6956 and it started skipping dvd and cd playback. The drive will burn and playback on a seperate cd or dvd player works fine. Any suggestions?
i woulnt say im an expert on this but things that have worked for me in the past has been using one of those cd/dvd laser cleaning kits to clean the laser on the drive and also another one has been updating to latest firmware for the drive.
