Elon Musk flexed Tesla's Cybertruck around Los Angeles over the weekend

Will TechSpot make a benchmark? For example: "How many illegal immigrants can you transport in Cybertruck vs F-150"?

With all these sharp edges, I wonder if this abomination might face problems becoming road legal in some European countries where pedestrian safety is a major concern. I'm surprised I've not been seeing anyone raising issue with this, this is a vehicle you definitely wouldn't want hitting you on the crosswalk.

yes..a recent study showed that 7 out of 10 persons would prefer to be splattered by a Prius.

You jest, but in a collision up to 25 mph, you'd probably have much better chances of escaping without serious injuries against a Prius (or even a Ram 3500) than something that wouldn't be out of place in Death Race 2000...

Well if you get hit at 25 mph (excluding Devine intervention) you are done.
I had a very close friend mowed down in an intersection by a car doing (they estimated at 15mph and her insides were completely ruptured.
I think its silly to design a vehicle with the idea that you might run over someone. And unless it resembles the 'pillow front car-y from Pee Wee's playhouse' There is little you can do to make 4000 LBS of rolling steel, plastic, or carbon fiber collision friendly.
I'm sure you can cite a study that shows otherwise, however unless they had actual human beings with black and yellow circles painted on their temples venturing out in front of these' pedestrian friendly bumpers'...I'm not buying it.
This is why when we are at an intersection I tell my kids, you get to go when there are no cars.
***and please don't call me Shirley...sorry, you said jest didn't you.

@red1776 When you say "Devine" (note your capital "D"), do you mean "Ava Devine? (Sorry, I can't post a link for her).

'Cause the run of the mill Devine", is spelled, d-I-v-I-n-e

Signed, "His Intrusiveness the Divine Grammar Nazi"...:p

Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings, but all you're doing is projecting. If anything, the Cyber truck has less sharp edges to cause lacerations. (**)

In any case, were you struck by any of the aforementioned vehicles @25 mph, you would in a majority of cases, (assuming center hood direct contact), be killed There is somewhat good news in that your corpse, (as are all corpses) would be in its majority, be biodegradable.

(**) I can't believe I find myself saying something almost positive about Musk's rolling abomination.
