As living in the US as a "free" country (it really isn't as every moment you are breaking some stupid law), I believe the freedom of choice.
If a business wants to stay open and accept the risk, let them. The government should not be able to mandate a company shut down. That is unconstitutional. Let the individual weigh the risk. A business should be able to be leveraged by the government to not force an individual to work by their own choice of risk factor. The said business should be willing to try allowing an environment that is (such as possibly working from home). Let the individual choose. Ya know - freedom! Those who have been laid off/furloughed from this are being mostly compensated by the government.
I am all for being respectable to others and their safety. I cannot account for every single person. Don't force me out of work just because you feel I shouldn't work because it's not safe for myself. I will worry about myself.
