Hi all,
I've been having trouble lately with a few STOP errors, and I was wondering if anyone may have insight into my situation. I have built and owned my computer for less than 6 months, and I have been receiving these errors for the past month or so. It only recently became so bothersome that I decided to look for help.
System Specs:
Core 2 Duo E6600
ASUS P5N-E SLI LGA 775 mobo
Nvidia Quadro FX 3450
2 x Western Digital 350 GB SATA hard drives
2 GB GSKILL ram PC6400
Running Windows XP Professional 32bit
Every now and again for the last month or so, I have received a BSOD with the error codes "0x000000F4" "0x00000077" or "0x0000007A". In response to the "77" and "7A" stop errors, I simply made the paging file much larger to compensate for my system's memory usage. this made the problem much more sparse, yet did not completely fix the problem. As for the "F4" error, I generally only get it while playing music off of my second hard drive, or while transferring files from one drive to the other. all of the help forums that I have read on the matter have resulted in a master-slave problem with hard drives. however, as my hard drives are SATA, this is not the case.
Any help you can give me would be great. thank you.
