European Union mandates speed limiters on all new cars to enhance road safety

There is already to many control. Speed cameras, stupid speed limits on nice roads and now more stupid controls in cars. what next? Police will send you fines regarding to your gps automatically? In my driving career I have driven more than 1.2mln kilometers, always speeding and never had car accident

I have my license for at more then 15 years. I've never bin into an accident caused by myself. It was a one time someone who smashed into me at the red lights because the dork did not pay attention.

I got caught one day speeding 230kmph on a dutch highway where only 130 was allowed. I was sort of sprinting with another Audi driver + bulgarian license plate. The officer in civilian car who entered the highway saw us going and pushed himself behind the bulgarian driver.

At one moment he squished himself in between us at approx 200kmph, and the lights went on with police follow. We both had our license revoked on the spot. So as I went with my good behaviour to court, because, well, I needed my license,

I got demolished on the fact that I'm a alert, defensive and even skilled or experienced driver who has seen the ring over 11 times with zero scratches. It don't matter. Law is the law. Too many people (still) die every year, look up the stats.

And the majority of drivers are just too stupid to keep their eyes on the road and not be distracted by little things such as phones and everything else. Because of that laws are made up, thx to stupid people.

I had to pay 1507 euro fine, lost my license for 30 days, and everything was good again.
