Facebook and Netflix videos playing in black and white on an HP LAPTOP

Today (24/06/2017) my HP laptop did a system restart to update it's system. Shortly after this all my Facebook videos such as those you can find on other people's newsfeed and on liked pages, lost all their color and began to play in black and white. I figured this was a Facebook issue until I watched a show on Netflix and it's doing the same thing there as well. However, Youtube isn't affected nor are my games both installed onto the computer itself and those I play on Facebook.

I have zero idea what update this was, so have no idea what was affected but I could really use some help on how to fix this as it's very annoying!

P.S. I'm not tech savy so I don't want to do anything that could damage this laptop!

I just had this problem myself, and it was my graphics driver. If you have an AMD graphics driver, open the AMD catalyst control center. Scroll down to video and click 'color (power-saving graphics)'. Select 'defaults' and apply, hope this helps.

Go to cortana, type in windows update settings, hit ok, look at view update history.
Find which update may have updated you're driver and uninstall it, a time where it updated should give you a clue and after you saw the problems.
