First Windows 11 Insider Preview build is now available on the dev channel

Now there's a juicy kick in the teeth from Microsoft.

For the record people, 22000.51 works on all hardware when you install it in a custom way. TechYesCity has a video that shows how to do it.

The insider preview allows pretty much any hardware right now. MS said that option is going to be removed in the general release. LOL, OK good luck with that.

it does not. before I turned on ptt in bios the 11 update want available. I have an 8700k. also I have tpm on my laptop but its not available because it has a 7th gen intel cpu. can you get around the blocks? sure, but not without some doing.

Clarification:

However, Microsoft stated that Windows Insiders who are already running in the 'Dev' channel could still install the Windows 11 preview builds even if they don't meet minimum system requirements.

"While we recommend that all PCs meet the full hardware requirements for Windows 11, we are allowing some limited exceptions as we apply these new restrictions."

"All Windows Insiders who have already been installing builds from the Dev Channel on their PCs up through June 24, 2021 will be allowed to continue installing Windows 11 Insider Preview builds even if their PC does not meet the minimum hardware requirements."
