Formatting new hard drive

I have recently added a second SATA hard drive. I can see it in CMOS setup and I see it as a Removable Disk (E in explorer, but can't access it to format it so it is not useable at this point. What do I need to do?

Download and install a program like Seagates DiscWizard for Windows and let this program handle the new drive installation

Went out to the Seagate site and they had some instructions to go through the Management route in XP and it seems to be working fine, It is formatting now. Thanks for the input.

Cool, glad you got it sorted... In the future, if you want to install a new boot drive and move the contents from the old C drive to the new drive, you can "clone" the old drive to the new drive using DiscWizard
