Free aac > mp3 > wav converter?

Hi all.
I'm getting back into music and have various files / songs that will need converting between these various files, and a google search throws up many "free" apps that are only free for a month or so.
Newest itunes seems to have removed this feature too strangely.

One of the best programmes I have ever come across for converting and also playing various music formats is Foobar2000
