Front 3.5 headphone jack?

Plugging my 3.5 iphone headphones into the front jack, I can hear my tunes on the pc fine yet nothing here https://www.rightthisminute.com/tv/episode/2017-10-12 or https://www.cbsnews.com/cbs-this-morning/eye-opener/ that I can hear. Why? W10 tower. ALL looks fine in the Device Manager & Sound Management.

Hi! Not sure what you're saying. Are you having trouble with the sound on one particular site?? When did you notice this problem?

Ok, will try to clarify this. My rear headphone jack is connected to my external speakers which work fine for everything. Just can't hear the sound from those sites mentioned using the front jack. I unplug the headphones from the front & all is well. Headphones are for iphone. Just noticed this problem yesterday but it may of happened some time back, don't recall.Will check out the link you posted.
