Galaxy Fold redux breaks in just 27 hours

Two simple statements. "Bendgate" and "You're holding it wrong."

What’s so funny about android phones is that when you go to their YouTube videos there’s almost no Apple buyers on those videos insulting those phones.

When you go on these tech websites there’s almost no Apple buyers on these websites insulting android phones.

But when you go to an Apple YouTube video or an Apple review on the tech website there are thousands of android users making ridiculous comments while Apple sits back and laughs and collects their money and becomes the biggest company in US history. That should tell you something.

There are so many different android phones and we just don’t care. It’s kind of like being a Mercedes owner surrounded by Toyota Camries.

Sure the Camry has less expensive costs of ownership and in some cases more features for the money but we just don’t care.

Ahh yes, I forgot Apple was your Deity. Fortunately Apple is not the topic in this discussion.

apple's R&D department actually tests stuff...you know...BEFORE they release it.

They can't anticipate morons sitting on their phones and bending them or letting their underachieving children put them in toilets... but for the most part, Apple has never had a release as lackluster as the Fold.

You can say what you want. I invest with the best.
Apple had more gates than I do around my yard. People who repair them know they are terribly designed, sometimes on purpose.

Yup, in fact they are DIABOLICAL.

They purposefully put wrong info in their schematics. Have software locks on replacement batteries, home buttons, and screens. Provide iOS updates to cripple devices that have been repaired and some that are not even repaired. Release new models with the exact same problems. Constantly have products with the same hardware failures. Put 50 volt LCD back light power rails right next to data rails. Thermal throttle cpus in 2 minutes. Lie about peak CPU frequency and TDP. Create and nurture a cult. For years it was iphones don't have screen burn because they are that much better... Now the new ones will :) only 8 years later

Tim cook has not done anything "innovative" in 11 years. Other than "curating" free speech as he pleases, and in his image of truth.

If anyone doesn't like how Apple controls their hardware...don't buy it.

Go buy one of them android phones with a popup selfie cam...

You should buy one of these Galaxy Folds.

Just don't use your fingernail to touch the screen.

But you're constantly insulting Android phones, to the point of tedium,. Are you trying to make up for all the Apple owners who don't insult Android devices?

If Apple was racing to create a folding phone, I bet they’d perfect it.

but they aren’t and they won’t.
they will, they'll just let samsung and the other companies work out the kinks first, toss their version out with a stupid high price and call it revolutionary like always

I'm under no illusions or misconceptions about Apple's profits or their practices.

Thing is, as long as they keep building a product that does what I need it to do in the manner I want it done, I will continue to patronize them.

No different than NVIDIA.

No different than ALIENWARE.

No different than VIZIO.

No different than SAMSUNG (appliances).

The simple fact is that no other device on the market runs iOS.

I love iOS.

I love iMovie for iOS.

The $5 investment into iMovie and the $1600 investment into my iPhone pays itself back in spades when you factor in my Youtube views and adsense payments.

When Apple builds a folding phone, I'll probably buy it so long as the camera continues to be top notch and storage continues to grow.

But to be honest, I don't see the logic of a folding phone.

So much more time efficient to have a hardened candybar phone.

Why Samsung?! It's like they need some tax write off so they need to sink billions into something no one wants and everyone knows will not work.

I haven't bought a samsung phone since the S4 and honestly don't really care that they are wrecking their own name.
