Is there alternative to the ddr5 UDIMM, 8GB 1Rx16 PC5-4800B=UC0-1010-XT, PN:HMCG66MEBUA081N BA, SN:80AD012227555903FF
I just max the ram out at 32 using 2 16's. Prices for the memory I seen anywhere from $250 to 500 for the pair.

Yeah, paying $250–$500 for just 16GB of DDR5 feels pretty painful, especially if you’re trying to get the system up to 32GB. I’d definitely look for a compatible 2x16GB DDR5 kit rather than paying Alienware’s premium, as long as the speed and timings are supported by the motherboard.
