Gears of War help

i have this version of Gears of war
and my computer like this :
MB Gigabyte P31
VGA ATI HD2600 PRO
Ram 2 GB ddr2
processor core 2 duo 2.5/3 MB cash....

and i am trying to make the game work , but the computer suddenly restart when the game start......i didn't even seen the intro..............

i tried to follow the instructions of Microsoft support , but it didn't work

by the way , i updated the VGA driver already , and a friend with a lower pc contents , made the game work

Gears on the PC released with a few bugs that resulted in a lot of issues with people who had met the recommended hardware settings where still experiencing low frame rates, buggy graphics, and choppy game play.

This worked for me, after applying the patch everything went great^_^

well ,thanks , i donwloaded the patch , and the patch didn't install right , but the game started without crashing or restarting , but it crash after 5 minutes
is it heat problem or what?
