Inactive Google Redirects and Trojan Attacks - Help!

My PC became infected with several trojans, changed settings and offered me XP Security. I was able to recover after doing a windows restore and running lots of scans using AVG, Malwarebytes, SAS, Trend House Call and several other programs.

The main problem now seems to be that Google redirects links from searches to Jeeves or other pages not relevant to the topic. I think it's these redirects that cause new trojans to try and infect my PC.

AVG is running and catches some of them, however if I do a scan with Trend Housecall I keep getting a hidden file called sccfg.sys. Trend attempts to remove it, but on reboot just comes back. Plus my settings for preferred browser are changed to IE instead of Firefox on logging in again, no matter how many times I change it.

I've spent the past two days trying to fix this thing, but can't root it out.

Please, I need help from an expert.
