Google warning: this site may harm you computer

This may not be posted in the correct forum, but I could find no place to ask my question so this is where I landed.

I am a user of Google but within the last 30 minutes when I google something, I get this warning "this site may harm you computer". Can anyone tell me what this means and why Google has chosen to post this warning. I am a computer novice, I am unsure how to proceed.

My OS is Windows XP Professional and I use IE 07. Thanks for any help.
