  1. Followed all the steps in a previous thread dealing with it, up until the part where I'm supposed to C&P some stuff into OTL's "custom fix" box that was obviously specific to the user's machine. Little help, please?

Heh. Sorry, I found this place by searching for "Starburn malware removal" and started following the instructions on my own. I've also joined so many forums over the years that I've given up reading the rules, because they can almost always be summarised as, "don't spam, don't link to porn, don't be a jerk".

Rules may be not important to you but they're important to me so my time is not wasted.

Look, I said I was sorry, alright? I can go somewhere else for help if it really bothers you that badly, but I thought I might save a bit of time by taking the initiative and providing some hopefully relevant information.
